LG GD510 ( LG Pop) Versus LG Neon 2 (LG Neon GT365)

LG Pop ( LG GD510)

The LG Pop is a compact full touchscreen handset. This phone has a 3.15 megapixel camera with adjustable light effects and autofocus. It has a 3 inch high resolution WQVGA touchscreen with an onscreen QWERTY keyboard. This phone has Music player and stereo FM radio with RDS. It has Blutooth, enabling the user to enjoy the music using wireless connectivity. The photocall phonebook can hold up to 1000 entries, and you can keep records of up to 20 dialled, received or 20 missed calls. It is a Tri band phone weighing just 87 grams.

Smallest 3 inch touchscreen out there. Operating system is simple and not to much customization is allowed- no apps just a small set of widgets. OK Facebook, Twitter and MySpace funtionality. My biggest problem with the set is no 3.5 mm jack- you have to use micro USB headsets instead. You can buy an adapter. 3 homescreens- first is widget screen second is "livesquare" screen, and the 3rd is contacts. The "Livesquare" screen is strange- its a visual representation of you communication log (voice, email, messnger) that is supposed to make tracking ongoing conversations and communications easier. Seemed easier for me to ignore, but really haven't spent much time trying to understand its functionality.

Music interface is usable, but not great, and videos are played through the file manager. Not very sophisticated. That said, had no problem playing MP4s which look very good on the screen. Controls are easy and intuative. Excellent build quality- solid phone feel.

Conclusion- I guess you'd call it an ultra-compact touch screen feature phone. Good if portability is your primary concern. I load it with an 8gb SD with music and movies when I don't want to carry a smartphone. Also cheap enough that loss or damage of the Pop won't be too upsetting.

LG KS 360 Review

LG KS 360 is a complete delight for the enthusiastic 'texters' with easy messaging options. You can easily operate the QWERTY keypad sending SMS's whenever you want. Even sending emails to instant messaging sites has never been so simpler before.

If earlier your fingers have been numbed by writing long text messages, then with LG KS 360 you are going to love it. Kids and teens will be really keen on making use of this messaging device. The teenagers love to send text messages to their folks on phone rather than making use of it to talk. Further, LG KS 360 has advanced messaging options of sending emoticons just like in chat programs. These teens are bound to go for evolving trends in the mobile phone technology, but are constrained by the budget. But this problem will be resolved with the LG KS360 which contains all the rudimentary features of other any moderately priced mobile phone.

The music lovers also will not be disappointed with the device with its support for playing AAC and mp3 formats. You can store an amazing number of tracks in the 15MB of internal memory of this phone. It can also be further built-in with a 4 GB microSD memory card. There are more stunning features in this phone like a 3.2 megapixel camera and a 240x320 pixels resolution 144-colour 2.4 inches TFT display screen.

Nokia N 97 Mini Phones Review

The Nokia Mini N97, is a more compact version of the Nokia N97. The S60 OS interface on the Nokia Mini N97 feels out of date and lacks the ease of use found on other operating systems like Android, iPhone, or webOS.

The Nokia N97 Mini is only slightly smaller than Nokia Mini N97, measuring 4.5 by 2.1 by 0.5 inches (the original measured 4.6 by 2.1 by 0.6 inches). It is also a bit lighter, weighing 4.9 ounces, or 0.4 ounce less than the original.

The Nokia Mini N97 feels much more comfortable in the hand than the Nokia N97. Its high-quality plastic body feels durable. Two touch-sensitive buttons (Talk and End) lie below the display, as does a hardware shortcut key to the menu.

The Nokia Mini N97's call quality over T-Mobile's 3G network was impressive. The display felt more responsive than the original N97's. The Nokia Mini N97 also has haptic feedback (a slight vibration when you touch an app), which helps with the navigation.
